Fire Tested Duct Access Doors

Manufactured ‘exclusively’ for Ductwork installations where the restriction of fire spread is essential, the Fire Tested Duct Access Doors are constructed of Galvanised Steel and incorporate high-temperature insulation materials. Additional ‘cam fasteners’ ensure a ‘flame tight’ seal whilst the heavy-duty handles allow for ‘easy removal’ of the Access Doors to facilitate inspection, cleaning, and maintenance.

Door frames on these Fire Tested Duct Access are supplied pre-punched, ready for additional mechanical fixings into the Duct in conjunction with the fold-over tabs.

The Duct Access Doors have been Independently Fire Tested, utilising the temperature and pressure conditions of BS EN 1363-1: 2012 and the principles of BS EN 1634-1: 2014. These Access Doors were exposed to furnace temperatures reaching just over 1000°C and retained their integrity for the full two-hour period of testing.
